Final Update

 I made some more improvement to the camera controls and did a cutout model for the archer. Noticed during the demo that the local rotation of the archer is wrong though so it leans to the left instead of leaning back when zooming out. Now we just have to finish the design document.

 It was a while ago now but I coded all the camera controls including board rotation and the ability to zoom. After that I've spent most of my time writing in the GDD and drawing more art. 

Basic Combat

 I should have posted this a while ago but I also made a diagram for how I imagine the combat to play out. It's not that readable when it's zoomed out like this but I thought I should post it since we won't have a chance to show it during the demos. Maybe it's something that should be put into the GDD?

 I've been working on some concept art for our game. While it can't be called profesional I don't think it's that bad. It's just a sketch for now of a melee brute and a colored mage brute. I think they do a good job at conwaying what we are going for with the theme at least. To make things simple we decided to use simple boardgamelike models for the game, kinda like this.

Starting Meeting

 We've started refining our design plans. Our current plans are for a turnbased rouglite with unit based combat, we havn't really decided individual roles yet but we'll have a meeting about that after the next lecture.
